Personal data that you provide to us: this is information that you provide to us voluntarily by entering information via :

  • Corresponding with us by telephone, email or any other means

 

Example: this includes, but is not limited to: information provided when you create a user account on our websites; subscribe to the services we make available to you via our websites; post documents or request additional services; or in the course of managing your online account (including accessing documentation and corresponding with us by telephone, e-mail or otherwise). We may also ask you for information if you tell us about a problem with our websites, or if you participate in our research surveys.

The information you provide to us may relate to your identification, including your name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number, information about your request to us, and may also include records of our correspondence with you and your responses to various surveys.

  • Information relating to transactions you carry out on the Websites, as well as your visits to our Websites, including, but not limited to: traffic data, location data, Weblogs and any other communication data, as well as the resources you access
  • Technical information, automatically collected, including anonymous data collected by the hosting server for statistical purposes, the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer or device to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform. Any personal data, which you authorise to be shared, that forms part of your public profile or a third-party social network

  • Responses to questions put to us (by telephone or online)
  • Sending greetings and other congratulations from CELEC
  • Improving our services
  • Responses to our administrative obligations

CELEC ensures that data is only accessible to authorised internal or external recipients.

Internal recipients:

  • Staff
  • Interns
  • Communications department
  • IT department

External recipients:

  • Contractors or support services (e.g. translation service, IT service provider, reprographics, etc.)

We only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for us to achieve the purpose for which it is processed, and to meet our various legal and regulatory obligations. Except in special cases, this period is indicated at the time your personal data is collected.

We do not keep personal data in a format that makes it possible to identify the holder for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Once the time limits set out in the aforementioned policy have elapsed, the data is either deleted or kept after being rendered anonymous, in particular for statistical purposes.

Please note that deletion or anonymisation are irreversible operations and that we are not subsequently able to restore them.

It is the responsibility of CELEC to define and implement the technical security measures, physical or logical, that it deems appropriate to combat the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised disclosure of data.

 

These measures mainly include :

– the use of security measures for access to premises (locked offices, badges, etc.)

– secure access to our computers and smartphones (access code changed regularly)

– IDs and passwords for all our business applications

– authorisation management for data access

– VPN for remote connections

– complex password for our Wi-Fi network, changed regularly

 

To this end, CELEC may call on the assistance of any third party of its choice to carry out vulnerability audits or intrusion tests at the intervals it deems necessary.

In any event, CELEC undertakes, in the event of a change in the means used to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data, to replace them with means of superior performance. No change may lead to a reduction in the level of security.

 

 

  1. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and certain exemptions, restrictions or circumstances, you may be entitled to:

  • To access your personal data;
  • To correct, amend and update your personal data;
  • To delete your personal data or limit its processing;
  • To withdraw your consent;
  • To object to us using your personal data to make automated decisions about you;
  • To ask us to send you your personal data in a structured file or to a service provider that you would indicate to us if this is technically possible (data portability);

 

These rights can be exercised by sending the written request to the contact persons whose details will be indicated at the time of collection of your data. You will receive a reply within a reasonable period of time, in accordance with the applicable laws.
