Contactless sensor for taps
Electronic Sanitary
Tap-makers are tending towards a minimalist style. In this example, our customer asked us for a sensor that could be connected to an existing tap to become an “accessory” and meet certain technical detection characteristics.
To meet our customer’s requirements, we proposed a remote sensor that could be installed next to the washbasin or directly vertically on the wall. It’s an IR (infrared) sensor with a configurable distance of between 50 and 250 mm, to avoid interference and ensure very high response speed and reliability. Its on/off activation makes it easy to understand and use.
In conclusion:
This solution allows users to keep their current tap while improving hand hygiene, with less dirt on the tap and optimised water consumption. Users will be able to cook or wash their hands intuitively with Celec technology.
