Implementation of a sub-counting system in the plastics industry
Smart Industry
The company consumes a significant amount of water for its industrial process. Water use is spread over several distant buildings. A single water meter indicates consumption for the entire site. The site is very large and the networks in place are very diverse. The company cannot identify the breakdown of its consumption by item. As a result, it cannot decide whether to carry out any work to reduce its water bill.
How can you sectorise water use to find out how much you consume, and draw up an action plan?
In collaboration with our partner design office, we have installed complete data logger and metering systems to sectorise consumption. 4G technology means that our products can be placed at key points on the site. Whether they’re indoors, outdoors or a long way from each other, a simple access to the cellular network can be used to send information back to the Celec supervision system.
Afterwards, training was given to the platform’s users so that they could set their own parameters.
A few weeks after the equipment was installed
equipment, the customer was able to :
Be aware of the amount of water consumed by cleaning processes and implement water reuse solutions for this process.
Detecting and treating a large leak in an underground pipe or an abnormal flow in a sanitary unit.
The customer estimated a return on investment of less than 6 months.

Remote activation
Water management in industry is a major issue. Expenses can arise from over-consumption of water and failure to monitor its use.
Remote reading/monitoring
In order to make decisions, you need to have access to good quality, easy-to-use data.
Supervision
Celec's supervision tool is a centralised dashboard for monitoring the data fed back by our products.
